The manor was constructed in the mid-16th century by the noble
Haller family from Lož, after which the manor was named Hallerstein.
Later owners include the families Coraduzzi and Rigoni, which sold the estate to Count Lichtenberg in 1688. It was the property of the count's descendants until 1906, when Viljemina von Lichtenberg gave it to her adopted son, Henrik Schollmayer von Lichtenberg.
The manor was
then inherited by his daughter, Margareta Schollmayer von Lichtenberg,
in 1930. In 1945 she was exiled from Yugoslavia, and the manor and the
estate were confiscated by the people's government. In 2004 the manor
and the estate were denationalised and returned to the lawful heirs,
the descendants of Greta Schollmayer.
